FIELD: machine building; metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building and metallurgy, namely to chemical-thermal treatment of parts from metals or alloys by saturation of surface layer with non-metals or metals and can be used for surface hardening of parts. Method of combined chemical-thermal treatment of parts from metals or alloys includes heating of parts and active medium with simultaneous effect on speed and depth of diffusion processes by excitation of high-frequency currents in parts, wherein excitation of high-frequency currents is carried out in surface layers at saturation depth with doping chemical elements.
EFFECT: obtaining required depth of alloying of surface metal layers at minimum time and energy consumption.
