FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to construction of ropes used in construction, particularly, reinforcement of prestressed building structures. Core is made with an external protective frame in the form of a corrugated shell from antifriction composite material reinforced by an elastic strong material; at the same time corrugations of the shell in the form of stiffening ribs are made with a different structural combination.
EFFECT: technical result is increased bearing capacity and increased reserve of potential energy of reactive forces in rope in order to preserve long-term effect of prestressing in structures with various methods of their reinforcement, as well as in any types of external loads, wider field of use of ropes with minimum weight and reduced use of high-strength steel wires.
