FIELD: construction, particularly members specially adapted to be used in pre-stressed constructions, namely to compensate losses of reinforcement pre-stressing.
SUBSTANCE: reinforcement member comprises end anchors and resilient compensators made as annular members and distributed at predetermined intervals along reinforcement member length. The annular members are formed of bent strips with concavities facing each other and define cavities to receive additional members. The additional members are made of bent strips with opposite concavities and convexities. Reinforcement member is bent along sinusoidal line described by the following equation: y=Sin x±1 relatively longitudinal axis of reinforcement member and is intercepted with retaining rings. Distance between adjacent compensators is equal to 2πn. Bent strips of compensator may have varying cross-sections increasing from compensator ends to mid-length part thereof.
EFFECT: increased load-bearing ability, increased operational reliability under any loads, increased duration of reactive force potential energy conservation and extended range of reinforcement member usage.
