FIELD: oil and gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to oil industry and is aimed at increasing stability of aqueous solutions of polymers in formation conditions used to isolate water influx into oil wells, to increase oil recovery and reduce water production of wells, to control injection capacity of injection wells. Modified polymer thickener contains water-soluble polyacrylamide and adipic acid as a stabilizer.
EFFECT: improved stability of insulating properties in time when used as thickening and structure-forming agents in oil production processes.
