FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agriculture, in particular to trays for growing plants, intended for hydroponic plantations, used both at home and industrial scale. Tray for growing plants comprises a body formed by a bottom with at least four hollow legs, and located along its perimeter of side and end walls. In central part of side and end walls along their perimeter there is an outboard step protruding outward, dividing said housing into lower part intended for directed flow of nutrient solution, and upper part from side step to upper edge of housing, intended for substrate laying. At least three projecting ribs are arranged at the bottom of the body, at the bottom parallel to the side walls and made with height up to the level of the side step and having a length smaller than the length of the side walls. Said projecting ribs alternately emanate from the end walls, creating a zigzag direction for the nutrient solution flow. At least one of said hollow legs has a hole.
EFFECT: this design simplifies design of the tray and simplifies its maintenance, as well as increases uniformity of distribution of nutrient solution in the tray, which increases productivity of grown plants.
