FIELD: woodworking industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to woodworking industry, in particular to band-saw machines guides. Aerostatic guide includes a body, the working surface of which is made in the form of an aerostatic support. Housing is made in the form of U-shaped shell with longitudinal slot, variable cross-section by height. Body covers the saw blade from the side surfaces and the trailing edge and consists of a diffuser, a straight guide and confuser zones. Perforations are made in side surfaces of diffuser zone.
EFFECT: simplified design of guide, increased operational reliability.
