Said guides are composed of curved one-sided aerostatic supports. Band saw drive represents a linear motor. Linear motor winding is a closed winding enveloping stator top and bottom cylindrical surfaces. Stator embraces stationary and moving guides.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of band saw drive.
