FIELD: veterinary medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to veterinary science, and can be used for postoperative therapy of animals after osteosynthesis. During postoperative therapy, once a day, intramuscular administrations of officinal solutions of dimedrol are introduced intramuscularly at dose of 3.0 mg/kg of body weight and analgin in amount of 0.03 g/kg for 4 days; ascorbic acid – 2.0 mg/kg of body weight for 7 days; lincomycin hydrochloride – 10.0 mg/kg of body weight for 7 days; calcium gluconate – 1–5 ml per animal for 7 days and tetravit – 0.05 ml/kg of body weight every 7 days 5 injections. 72 hours after the operation, azoxiveth is additionally introduced intramuscularly in dose of 0.3 mg per 1 kg of live weight once day 5 times with interval of 48 hours.

EFFECT: method provides reduced length of treatment, reduced amount of used antibiotics due to intramuscular introduction of azoxiveth.
