FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy. Slide shutter (10) has body part (1) attached to container with molten metal and movable unit (2) moved in longitudinal direction. Refractory plates (4, 5) are installed in the body part and in the movable unit. Movable unit (2) is supported by means (6a, 6b, 7a, 7b), attached to body part (1) perpendicular to movable unit with provision of its movement in longitudinal direction. Supporting devices (6a, 6b, 7a, 7b) are individually detachably attached to body part (1) so that in closed state of gate shutter (10) they can be released from body part (1) in any position of movable unit (2). In case of failure the movable unit opens without destruction of supporting facilities and/or other parts of the gate. Housing part (1) has walls (8, 9), which pass near plate (4, 5) in longitudinal direction and have protrusions (10a, 10b), directed towards side, for arrangement of bearings (12) of separate supporting means (6a, 6b, 7a, 7b).
EFFECT: ensuring stability of body part and securing of supporting means.
