FIELD: astronautics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to aerospace engineering. Method includes measurement of initial values of orbit parameters and forecasting of spacecraft time and coordinates by them. For given time interval, survey of underlying surface is carried out at different values of angle γ between the direction of the normal to the orbit plane and the projection of the axis of view of the survey equipment on the plane perpendicular to the spacecraft velocity vector. Geographic coordinates of planet surface points corresponding to the specified snapshot points are determined, and determining sets of points, coordinates of which satisfy equations of determination of cone vertex, beams and axis of which pass through points of surface of planet corresponding to given points of image, and angle of solution is equal to angle of field of view of filming equipment. Orbital plane position is determined and combination of points is determined. Actions are repeated and the predicted values of time and coordinates making up the line passing at the moments of the images through the points of the found points combinations are received for the determined current orbit of the spacecraft.
EFFECT: enabling determination of orbit parameters outside zones of trajectory navigation measurements.
