FIELD: forestry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to timber industry. Method is characterized by the fact that a branch line with a dart is fired in the forest along the branch of the selected tree in the forest to cover the branch. Ends of the line are fixed with a nail on the tree trunk along the central line of the trunk on the side of the forest path rear, enveloping the transceiver, which contains the chain saw receiver, a radar for detecting movable metal parts in a forest and a noise transmitter for an operative-search group. Lower part of transceiver is fixed by nail at height of 2.5–10 m of shaft from ground level.
EFFECT: method will provide hidden tracking of forbidden cutting of wood with obtaining material evidence of sound of operating chainsaw, as well as tracking of moving metal mechanisms of cabin and machines.
