FIELD: land reclamation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to drainage reclamation, in particular, to drainage with closed tubular drainage, and can be used for protection of drain pipes from siltation. Protective-filtering material 2 for closed horizontal drain 1 is a fibrous material of perchlorovinyl resin, having a two-layer structure (with total thickness of 3.5 mm) with diameter of fibers in first layer of 5–10 nm and in second layer of 100–300 nm and distance between fibers of not less than 15 % of average size of soil particles, which is overlapped over drain tube 1 and is subjected to circular dusting with gravel 3 with fraction of 2.5–10 mm.
EFFECT: invention increases water-receiving capacity of drains by increasing longitudinal water-passage capacity, simplifies the technology of laying protective-filtering material as a result of moldability around the protected drain, as well as longer service life of irrigation system as a whole.
