FIELD: biogas transportation and neutralization.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the safe and cost-effective operation of operating and discontinued landfills for solid household, municipal and industrial waste, namely to the collection, transportation and neutralization of biogas generated during the decomposition of waste in the body of the landfill. The degassing system for solid waste landfills contains vertical drainage flexible tires, consisting of plastic cores, which are wrapped in a filtering gas-permeable non-woven material, consisting of thermally bonded polymer fibers. Flexible busbars are installed at the same distance from each other and are connected in the upper part with a closed system of horizontal pipes with the possibility of venting gas to the outside. The degassing system includes a system for surface and underground collection, a system for transporting and processing biogas, systems for preparing, cleaning and utilizing biogas, and an energy generation system. The system of surface and deep collection includes vertical polymer belt tires with a textured core, immersed in the body of the landfill to a depth of up to 35 m. At the same time, the ends of the vertical tires are taken out of the body of the landfill on a slope or into the overlying layers. The vertical tires are combined into a closed gas transmission system, insulated with a sheet, and the horizontal drainage tires-mats are connected by 10-20 vertical tires each in the direction towards the central line of the gas collection areas. Drainage horizontal polymer tires-mats are overlapped over vertical strip drains extending from the body of the landfill by 0.5 m over the area of the gas-gathering field and led into trenches, in which polymer tires are laid over perforated collector pipes. The trenches with a collector pipeline and attached polymer tires along the entire length are covered with gravel and covered with a drainage geocomposite, followed by covering with a smooth polymer sheet. The biogas transportation system includes a tubular gas transportation system, valve blocks and condensate separation, compressor stations, a control center for all operating equipment located in a modular building or block container. The landfill is insulated with a protective screen consisting of reclamation layers that form an airtight surface and prevent landfill gas from escaping.
EFFECT: invention provides an increase in the efficiency of biogas extraction for the stabilization of solid waste storage sites.
