SUBSTANCE: agent for hypothermic preservation of the cornea graft includes the ingredients in the following ratio, wt%: medium 199 with Hanks salts – 41.15; F-12 medium with Hepes – 25.00; DMEM medium with Hepes – 25.00; L-glutamine – 0.145; Chondroydin sulphate A – 1.00; Dextran-40 – 5.70; antibiotic-antimycotic – (Penicillin-Streptomycin-Amphotericin B) – 2.00; Trimetazidine dihydrochloride – 0.005.
EFFECT: invention enables the pharmacological protection of the corneal keratocyte and endothelial cell membranes in the cold storage process, promotes the restoration of the damaged structures, protects the cornea graft from hypoxic and hypothermic stresses, and as a result, prevent the development of energy deficiency as a result of reducing the intracellular concentration of adenosine triphosphate, as well as prolong the length of preservation without significantly reducing the density of endothelial cells.
