FIELD: medical biology, ophthalmology.
SUBSTANCE: invention is an agent for organotypic preservation of a donor cornea, containing medium 199, Ham's F-10 medium, chondroitin sulfate, dextran, gentamicin sulfate, amphotericin B and Dulbecco-Eagle medium, according to the invention, additionally contains Cycloferon and Cymeven, and Dextran-T500 is used as dextran, with the following ratio of components, per 100 ml:
Medium 199 - 25.0 ml
Ham's medium F-10 - 25.0 ml
Chondroitin sulfate A - 0.5 g
Dextran-T500 - 5.0 g
Gentamicin sulfate - 0.00014 g
Amphotericin B - 0.00015 g
Cycloferon - 1 mg
Cymeven - 0.5 mg
Dulbecco's Modified Eagle's medium - the rest.
EFFECT: invention allows stopping replication of herpes viruses and providing effective preoperative prevention of transmission of herpes viral infection from donor to recipient due to synergistic antiviral action of the agent components.
