FIELD: nuclear physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to thermonuclear engineering, namely, to design of vacuum chamber (VC) and accident localization system (ALS) in thermonuclear reactor of thermo-nuclear reactor or in demonstration thermonuclear source of neutrons (DEMO-TSN). It is possible to use it in any installations where it is possible to form hydrogen and explosive mixture (EM). For this purpose, device is proposed, which includes discharge tank, in which low pressure is maintained, connected by pipelines with safety valves and bursting discs with vacuum chamber, wherein discharge tank is divided horizontally by louvre steam condenser with water cooling, on upper and lower compartments, in lower compartment of discharge capacity there is tubular condenser of steam with water cooling and condensate collector, and in upper compartment is installed at least one getter gas absorber, which includes water cooling system.
EFFECT: technical result, on which the proposed technical solution is directed, is to exclude the possibility of accumulating considerable amount of gaseous hydrogen in the VC and ALS after an accident with only water or water flowing into the VC and air breakthrough.
