FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering and can be used as warning light signaling for overhead transmission lines (OL) to ensure its integrity of accident-free operation in aerodrome area and air routes, as well as in areas located in zones of movement and maneuvering of aircrafts objects, availability of which can disrupt or worsen safety conditions. Device contains an antenna and a gas-discharge lamp, which are suspended through insulators to a phase conductor of a power transmission line. Gas-discharge lamp is connected by its one end to the phase conductor, the other one – to the antenna. Gas discharge lamp used is a low-pressure gas discharge lamp comprising a quartz glass bulb in which: a gas discharge channel is located, in the form of a gas-discharge tube located coaxially to the bulb axis, and – electrodes made in the form of hollow cylindrical cold cathodes, in the cavities of which one-third of their length includes open ends of a gas-discharge tube fixed inside the bulb by elastic centralizers. Volume of gas-discharge tube is filled with inert gas; cylindrical cathodes are fixed inside the bulb with O-rings. Bulb volume between O-rings is filled with damping fluid; bulb volumes between elastic rings and bulb ends are filled with elastic compound. At the bulb ends a boxes are fixed, on which flanges with electrode assemblies are mounted by means of a threaded connection. Discharge channel can be made in form of spiral gas-discharge tube. Inert gas in the gas-discharge lamp can be a mixture of neon and argon at ratio of 300:1 to 500:1 at total pressure pd defined by formula 15≤pd≤30. Opposite ends of gas-discharge lamp can be connected with phase conductor and antenna by shunting conductors. As shunting conductors there can be used flexible wires. Antenna and the gas-discharge lamp can be fixed parallel to the phase conductor of the power transmission line by means of suspended fixtures. Insulators can be polymer insulators. As insulators there can be used suspended insulators intended for operation in open air at temperature in range from -60 to + 50 °C, and withstand destructive mechanical force of not less than 70 kN.
EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of reliability and service life of device due to increased mechanical strength and temperature stability of gas-discharge lamp, as well as increase in luminous efficiency of device at low consumed currents and reduction of power consumption.
