FIELD: gas-discharge equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to gas-discharge engineering, namely to low-pressure gas discharge lamps, and can be used as a light source for enclosure of supports and lines of high-voltage power transmissions and other high-rise structures, location of which in aircraft movement and manoeuvring area can disrupt or worsen safety of flights. Lamp comprises a transparent housing in which there is a discharge capillary in form of a spiral with electrodes on its ends, filled with gas containing neon, support bushing out of metal enclosing one of the housing ends, and electrode holders connecting electrodes with power supply. In the housing there are sealing rings fixing the position of the ends of the discharge capillary and forming a volume filled with the transparent damping fluid, and the second support sleeve enveloping the second end face of the housing, at that, on the bearing bushings there fixed are flanges with electrode holders, volumes between sealing rings and body ends, in which ballast resistors are installed, which are connected to electrodes and electrode holders, are filled with elastic compound, and gas filling consists of a mixture of neon and argon.
EFFECT: high brightness and light efficiency with low consumption of electrical energy, high mechanical strength and durability of the gas-discharge lamp.
