FIELD: polymer production.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to options of methods for increasing MFR2 of polyethylene copolymer or ethylene plastomer or elastomer, a product, the use of a product, the use of the rotation speed of an extruder screw or the content of a radical initiator for regulating MFR2, visbreaking polyethylene copolymer or ethylene plastomer or elastomer. This method includes the extrusion of polyethylene copolymer with density from 910 to 970 kg/m3 and MFR2 from 1 to 100 g/10 min, or ethylene plastomer or elastomer with density from 855 to 910 kg/m3 and MFR2 from 0.5 to 100 g/10 min, in the presence of 0.1-2% by wt. of a non-peroxide radical initiator with the production of polyethylene copolymer with MFR2 of 200 g/10 min or more, or ethylene plastomer or elastomer with MFR2 of 200 g/10 min or more. The non-peroxide radical initiator decomposes at a temperature above 200°C. The rotation speed of the extruder screw is from 300 to 1400 rpm. The product is used as hot-melt adhesive in spunbond or meltblown technologies.
EFFECT: technical result is the development of a method for obtaining polymer material with low Mw and high MFR2.
