FIELD: manufacturing technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a cross-linked thermally rebuilt polymer membrane for separation of gases and a method for production thereof. Cross-linked thermally rebuilt polymer membrane produced according to the invention contains fluorine atoms distributed in it with provision of concentration gradient from the surface. Membrane is formed in the form of a three-layer structure consisting of a fluorine-loaded layer, a transition layer and a thermally rebuilt base polymer layer, thereby having higher selectivity as compared to the existing commercial gas-distributing membrane.
EFFECT: proposed membrane allows separation of helium with high degree of purity and high degree of extraction of natural gas from well even at small area of membrane, and thus commercialization of this membrane is possible.
