SUBSTANCE: invention refers to metallurgy and machine building. To increase impact strength while maintaining high strength of steel parts, the method of producing a hardened compacted part includes a first heat treatment process comprising heating the workpiece steel material to temperature higher than the Ac3 conversion point for austenitic transformation, and then cooling for martensitic conversion or bainitic conversion, and a second heat treatment process comprising heating the steel material which has undergone the first thermal treatment process to a temperature higher than the Ac3 conversion point for austenitic transformation, and then cooling for martensitic transformation. After steel material has been heated to temperature higher than Ac3 conversion point in at least one process from a first heat treatment process or a second heat treatment process, pressing is performed at a temperature higher than the Ar3.
EFFECT: higher impact viscosity while maintaining high strength of steel parts.
