SUBSTANCE: invention relates to household electrical equipment intended for hair care. Disclosed is hair device (2) comprising rod (6) movably rotatable about its longitudinal axis, and screwing element (11), configured to wind a strand of hair around rod (6). Screwing element (11) is made with possibility of joint rotation with rod (6) and comprises near end installed with possibility of rotation relative to rod (6) between retracted position and approximate position. Besides, hairdressing appliance comprises movable protective flap (14) installed with possibility of movement between closed position, in which the movable protective flap (14) at least partially covers rod (6) and screwing element (11) in order to limit access to rod (6) and to screwing element (11), and the open position, in which movable protective flap (14) at least partially releases access to rod (6) to allow introduction of strand of hair between rod (6) and screwing element (11).
EFFECT: eliminating the risk of burns, simple and safe use, as well as enabling automatic creation of curls and waves.
