SUBSTANCE: disclosed is a method of cutting diamonds and assembling diamonds made therefrom, which includes steps for sorting, fixing, marking, cutting, polishing, assembling and cutting diamonds. Sawing diamond to form crown, girdle and pavilion to form at least three main faces of pavilion, at least three minor faces between main faces and at least one third-degree face at least on one of peripheral areas. Each diamond is processed separately, flat faces of adjacent diamonds are joined to form a complete solid structure. Grooves are cut to assemble the diamonds, and the final decorating pattern is formed with the help of the base.

EFFECT: disclosed is a method of cutting diamonds and assembling diamonds made therefrom to form a composite diamond having improved luster and shade characteristics.
