For this purpose, device (405) for container administration contains: container environment containing multiple containers, each of which contains one or several applications, and differing in that: each container is associated with exactly one network edge uniquely identifying said association; and a container manager, configured to control communication between applications and network edges, wherein the container manager prohibits communication between the first application in the first container and the second application in the second container.

EFFECT: isolation between applications in different containers, so that applications in one container can not interact with applications in another container.
