SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electron-optical systems and can be used to display information on windows of subway cars. Method of displaying information in a subway car involves placing in the window opening a rigid transparent plate and a transparent display connected to the power supply, a source of information supply to the display and a control unit with a sensor for switching information to the display. Behind the display there is a film having the possibility of changing transparency at control action. When the car enters the tunnel, the film is transferred into an opaque state, and when the car leaves the tunnel to the station platform, the film is transformed into a transparent state, and information transfer is performed when the car leaves the tunnel to the platform of the station and the car enters the tunnel from the platform of the station.

EFFECT: invention provides high definition of displaying information on windows, including on the background of external objects.
