SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a transparent display device. Device comprises a display including a plurality of transparent display layers and a controller configured to control the display to display a first screen on a first transparent display layer from a plurality of transparent display layers, display, when a first event occurs, a second screen on a second transparent display layer from a plurality of transparent display layers and display a first screen on a second transparent display layer for a predetermined time when a second event occurs, wherein the second transparent display layer is a lower layer than the first transparent display layer, and wherein if the second screen is displayed on the area overlapping with the first screen from the entire region of the second transparent display layer, controller displays a first screen on a first transparent display layer while a second screen is rendered on a second transparent display layer.
EFFECT: technical result is displaying information using a plurality of transparent display layers.
