SUBSTANCE: invention relates to motor transport, can be used in trucks with armored cargo platform. Method of protection against air shock wave of vehicle with armored cargo platform under body tent includes installation of masking cover on vehicle. In vehicle camouflage cover there used is web from fine-meshed network with frequent arrangement of camouflage elements, gap between vehicle cabin and masking network, as well as gap between cab and body tent is filled with air-mechanical foam with high foam mass stability. Gaps are filled with foam mainly after receiving information on threat of use of fire weapons by vehicle. Foam generator used is fire truck.

EFFECT: attenuation of air shock wave acting on vehicle cabin, provision of cab stability in foam mass, equal to strength of armored cargo platform.
