FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of rolling. Method comprises joining a layer of a base metal material and a layer of a metal coating material to form a stack of layers, after which stack of layers is heated and thermomechanical rolling of heated pack of layers is carried out, including first phase of rolling for pre-rolling of heated pack of layers with formation of metal bond between layer of main metal material and layer of metal coating material, second rolling phase for final deformation of stack of layers and cooling period between first rolling phase and second rolling phase. Chemical composition of coating material in percent by weight is as follows: 3.1 % or less of Nb, preferably 2.8 % or less of Nb, particularly 2.8 % or less of Nb+Ta. Final rolling temperature in second rolling phase is set to value 880 °C or less, in particular 850 °C.
EFFECT: invention enables to obtain a clad sheet with high viscosity or sufficient viscosity at low temperature.
