FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of determining required output electric power of a machine, on which a drive motor, a fuel cell battery and an accumulator battery are installed. Battery of fuel elements is configured to generate electric current for actuation of drive motor. Accumulator battery is configured to output electric current for drive motor actuation. Maximum output power of the drive motor is determined as the first value of output power and output power of the driving motor when the vehicle moves in cruise mode as the second value of output power. Number of fuel cells to be installed is determined as n, wherein n is a natural number, and the output power value output by the fuel cells battery when the vehicle is cruising is the third output power value. Maximum output power of the accumulator battery is also determined as a value obtained by subtracting the value obtained by multiplying the maximum output power of the fuel cell stack by n from the first output power value. Value obtained by multiplying the third value of output power by n is equal to or greater than the second value of output power, and the value obtained by multiplying the third value of output power by (n-1) is less than the second value of output power.
EFFECT: optimization of the process of determining the required output electrical power of the machine.
