SUBSTANCE: invention relates to vehicle power consumption control. In the method of controlling power consumption of a vehicle system, the ambient temperature and the current first value of the state of charge of the power supply battery are obtained. Then, allowable power of charge-discharge of supply battery is obtained on the basis of ambient temperature and current first value of state of charge of supply battery. Permissible charge-discharge power of the supply battery is controlled according to the allowable charge-discharge power of the supply battery.
EFFECT: improved control of the state of charge of the power supply battery based on the ambient temperature, which has a positive effect on the service life of the battery.
