FIELD: food industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the food industry. Pizza manufacturing method includes stages of dough preparation, dough with filler combination, which is selected from a group consisting of cheese, meat, vegetables and their combinations, and application of a coating containing sodium chloride on the dough surface external available in the end product. Coating contains at least 30 wt. % of total content of sodium chloride in the coating and dough. Coating is a powdered composition containing sodium chloride, or contains a suspension of sodium chloride in oil, or represents an aqueous solution containing sodium chloride.
EFFECT: invention allows to manufacture a product with low salt content without negative effect on its taste.
