SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medicine and pharmacy. Disclosed is use of 1-(2-(1H-imidazol-4-yl)ethyl)piperidine-2,6-dione or a salt thereof for treating asthma-resistant steroid, a corresponding therapeutic method by administering a therapeutically effective amount of said compound. Disclosed are combination of 1-(2-(1H-imidazol-4-yl)ethyl)piperidine-2,6-dione or a salt thereof and a steroid (particularly a corticosteroid), both in a therapeutically effective amount for treating patients with steroid resistance to asthma and a method of treating administering said combination.
EFFECT: overcoming steroid resistance.
