SUBSTANCE: this technical solution, in general, relates to computer engineering. Method includes the following steps: obtaining a video stream from one video stream source with a space area image; capturing video stream frames when one person's image is detected on them; determining the position and size of the face image on each captured frame; determining the image quality of the face image on the captured frames, on which the face image size is higher than the predetermined threshold values; selecting a face image with a maximum image quality of the face; calculating a vector characterizing features of the face image, based on the selected face image; comparing the calculated vector with the stored image vectors in the database (DB); based on the results of comparing the calculated vector with the stored vectors, assigning to the person an access parameter which determines the permission to be in the space region; displaying access parameter to image display device.

EFFECT: reduced time of people search in places of mass congestion of people or large multi-storey buildings, in which these people should not be located, and higher accuracy of persons identification.
