FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to analysis of video images for detection of alarm events in interaction with self-service devices (hereinafter, SSD). Such a result is achieved by obtaining data from at least one video surveillance camera, characterizing the image of at least one figure of a person located near the SSD; performing analysis of obtained data using machine learning model, during which processed images are processed to identify key points of human figure; performing the analysis of key points detected at the previous step to determine the posture taken by the human figure by constructing a human skeleton using the machine learning model and analysing the angles between the key points of said graphic skeleton; calculating angles between said key points, wherein the value of angles in range of 0 to 120 degrees is used to fix the non-standard position of the person next to the SSD; analysing the presence of human figure interaction in the detected non-standard pose with the SSD; determining the time interval of the detected interaction, wherein if the time interval is greater than the predetermined threshold value, the presence of the alarm event when operating with the SSD is identified.
EFFECT: technical result is higher accuracy of detecting alarm events.
