SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for removal of surface layer of oil-containing liquids and can be used in treatment facilities of water supply and sewage, in chemical and metal-working industry, during cleaning of process lubricating-cooling liquids from organic impurities, as well as for collection of oil products from surfaces of water bodies of rivers, lakes, seas and oceans. Device for removal of surface layer of oil-containing liquids contains oil-collecting device 2 in the form of belt conveyor consisting of endless belt 4 perforated on the sides of oil-resistant material, three hollow sealed drums 20, 21, having ends on sprocket 22 and fixed on movable frame 3, float 14 in form of hollow or filled with foam plastic sealed container of rectangular cross section, attached to movable frame 3, additional hollow container – float in form of hollow tight drum, drive 9. Tape 4 is wavy. Float 14 is a floating device mounted under the conveyor with a gap by means of lugs 24. At the bottom of float 14 vertical keel 16 is built in, which is a telescopic pipe with cross-shaped tip.
