FIELD: water and air purification technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for removal of surface layer of oil-containing liquids and can be used in treatment facilities of water supply and sewerage, in chemical, metal-working and other industries when cleaning process, lubricating-cooling liquids and detergent solutions from foreign organic impurities, as well as for removal of oil products from surfaces of water bodies of rivers, lakes, seas, oceans. Device for removal of surface layer of oil-containing liquids contains floating oil-collecting device in form of belt conveyor, consisting of endless perforated on sides tape from oil-resistant material, mounted on three hollow sealed drums, one of which is made drive, and other – driven, having at ends of one sprocket to drive perforated on sides tape and attached together with belt hingedly using supports on movable frame. Float is arranged between hollow drums and belt branches in the form of hollow or filled tight container of rectangular cross section, attached to the movable frame with the possibility of rocking together with the belt perforated on the sides and the driving drums relative to the surface layer of oil-containing liquids around the axis of the driving drum, mounted on two supports to fixed frame together with drive. Proposed device comprises drain system composed of two drain trays that play the role of scrapers with possibility of contact with endless belt at point of installation on movable frame and have cross-section mirrored profile of belt. Perforated belt on lateral side is wavy, sinusoidal on both sides as shown in fig. 4. Float in longitudinal section represents a segment in longitudinal section of conveyor equipped with additional float-type tank in the form of tight hollow drum with possibility of swinging by means of spring and carrier attached to moving frame of conveyor. Driving and driven drums are made as shown in fig. 4, 6 in order to free penetration of surface layer of oil-containing liquids on internal and external surface of tape and reduction of surfaces of oil extrusion above tops of sinusoid by driving drum. Drum rings have discontinuous surfaces, while the ledges and recesses of the rings are shifted against each other in axial direction.
EFFECT: higher efficiency and quality of removal of surface layer of oil-containing liquids.
