FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a material for processing by layer-by-layer synthesis and specifically relates to a powder for treatment by layer-by-layer synthesis, particularly for processing in selective laser sintering (SLS). Powder for SLS treatment contains a mixture of at least one amorphous heat-resistant thermoplastic and/or liquid-crystal polymer, such as PEI, PES, PPSU and/or PSU with at least one partially crystalline material, such as polyphenylene sulphide. Powder for SLS treatment combines properties of partially crystalline polymer compound with properties of amorphous polymer compound.
EFFECT: invention enables the SLS method to obtain parts which have sufficient fire resistance, which enables to use them in the electrical engineering/electronics sector.
