FIELD: physics; chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to material for use as raw material for SLS-method, which along with especially required fire-retardant properties and optimum processability in SLS-method simultaneously provides optimal mechanical properties, such as ultimate elongation, tensile strength, elasticity, moulded article made therefrom in the SLS method. Invention also relates to a non-flammable moulded article obtained by a selective laser sintering method, in a shorter manner, an SLS method, and satisfying, in particular, fire safety requirements according to DIN 45545. According to the invention, the moulded article is suitable for use in the transport industry, for example, in automobiles or airplanes, in particular, the invention relates to a moulded article for a railway vehicle. At that, besides clean fire resistance it is necessary to consider also aspects of protection of passengers and/or personnel against smoke and/or toxic gases in case of fire, as specified in standard DIN EN 45545.
EFFECT: invention relates to material as source material for SLS-method, which in addition to special requirements to fire-proof properties simultaneously provides optimum processability and ensures possibility of repeated use of powder in or after SLS-method and imparts optimum mechanical properties to moulded article produced by SLS-method, such as ultimate elongation, tensile strength and elasticity.
