FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to chemical and petrochemical industry, namely to a method for ammonia-containing gas purification and ammonia water production. Method includes reacting an ammonia-containing gas with water and returning a portion of the ammonia water to the ammonia-containing gas purification process. In this case, the interaction of ammonia-containing gas with water is carried out in an absorber consisting of two packed sections separated by a blind collector plate provided with a gas flue. Ammonia-containing gas is supplied under the lower layer of the lower packed section, and water is fed to the upper layer of the upper packed section. Next, a part of the absorbed ammonium water collected on a blank collector plate is cooled and fed to the top of the upper and lower packing sections as irrigation. In addition, according to the signal from the on-line analyzer installed on the ammonia water outlet line and the signal from the temperature sensor installed in the upper part of the absorber, the flow of water and ammonia water supplied to the absorber is varied.

EFFECT: technical result consists in obtaining ammonia water of high purity of the required concentration in one column-type absorber apparatus.
