SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a sheet material, on the surface of which a protective device is applied. Fibrous sheet material includes a fibrous underlying region located under the recess, a protective device applied on the surface and located in the recess. Fibres in the underlying region are sealed by a protective device applied on the surface. Lower region has initial moisture content of 60–90 % water by weight.
EFFECT: improved wear resistance, acceptable adhesion of ink, high tensile strength in transverse direction and absence of illumination.
