SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the agricultural machine building. Baler compression chamber opening device comprises fixing mechanism 1 in the form of hooks and hooks and at least one hydraulic cylinder 12. Hooks are hingedly fixed to part 3 of compression chamber. Lugs are located on movable part 2 of compression chamber. Hydraulic cylinder 12 stem is connected with movable part 2 of compression chamber. Holder of fixing mechanism 1 is connected by lever with additional hydraulic cylinder installed on movable part 2 of pressing chamber and equipped with pressure sensor. Fixing mechanism 1 hook is connected to the spring-loaded pressure rod. Rod by one end is in contact with moving part 2 of the pressing chamber in the closed position, and by its other end is connected to the movable element of the locking mechanism, which is engaged with the fixed element of the locking mechanism. Fixed locking mechanism is installed on spring-loaded pull rod of fixing mechanism 1.

EFFECT: device for opening of compression chamber stably provides preset density of rolls of collected material.
