FIELD: mining.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to enrichment of minerals, in particular, to flotation methods of dressing, and can be used in potassium ore processing. Use of oxyethylated derivatives of cashew nut shell liquid with degree of oxyethylation from 1 to 100 as floatation agent for enrichment of potassium ores. Oxyethylated cashew nut shell liquid derivatives are represented by cardanol, natural cashew nut shell liquid, decarboxylated cashew nut shell liquid, anacardic acid, methyl cardol, residol. Degree of oxyethylation is preferably 30 to 50.
EFFECT: reduction of losses of potassium chloride to slimes due to reduction of its extraction into foam product and increase of extraction of insoluble residue into foam product, which reduces amount of undesirable impurities at stage of sylvinite floatation.
