SUBSTANCE: invention relates to flotation processing methods and can be used in the processing of potash ores using a sludge depressant reagent based on urea-formaldehyde resin. A method for enriching potassium ores using a depressant based on a modified urea-formaldehyde resin as a flotation reagent, which includes processing the sylvite flotation feed with reagents - a depressor and a collector, and flotation of potassium chloride. As a depressant reagent based on a modified urea-formaldehyde resin, the reaction product of urea, formaldehyde, ammonia, light polyethylene polyamines and melamine is taken in mass ratios of 1:(1.00-3.00):(0.005-0.30):( 0.005-0.48):(0.005-0.3).
EFFECT: increase in the floatability of useful minerals in the presence of clay-carbonate slurries.
