FIELD: construction.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to construction transport, particularly, to easily mounted elevator for construction or engineering works. Soil elevator comprises central post, traction drive to drive two closed traction chains arranged on opposite sides of central post, load-carrying elements installed between traction chains, tensioning device and sprockets enveloped by closed traction chains. Tensioning device is arranged in lower part of central post and comprises pivotally connected top platform and lower platform, wherein upper platform is fixed on central post and equipped with mechanism creating force on lower platform. Sprockets are installed on the outer sides of the platforms so that when the traction chain of the rotation axis is tensioned, at least two such sprockets interacting with one traction chain are displaced relative to each other in at least one plane.

EFFECT: higher efficiency of work while maintaining reliability of the structure, as well as reduced consumption of material for creation of elevator.
