FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: proposed elevator comprises belt 1, frame 6, case, tensioning appliance and drive. Load carrying shelves 2 are attached to the belt with a certain spacing to move free in the plane of the belt normal surface. Each shelf is pivoted to the belt with the help of flexible suspensions representing cross pieces. Attachment allows shelves to be fixed on ascending run and tipped by gravity to bear against return run of elevator.
EFFECT: simplified design, reduced length.
