FIELD: conveyors.
SUBSTANCE: bench for testing the working elements of a bucket elevator comprises a lower section with a loading pipe and an upper section for unloading cargo connected directly to a drum drive shaft installed between the sections in engagement with a traction element in the form of a conveyor belt and buckets attached to it using hinged units. The drum drive shaft is made hollow and is interconnected with a strain gauge or strain gauges installed in the hinge units, as well as with current collectors and a stress recording device.
EFFECT: reduction in the weight of the stand and an increase in the accuracy of measuring the forces on the fastening hinge joints of the bucket to the traction element.
