ULTRASONIC PROBE WITH HOUSING AND REPLACEABLE TIP Russian patent published in 2020 - IPC A61B8/00 A61B8/08

Abstract RU 2713146 C2

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medical equipment, specifically to means of ultrasonic probing. Ultrasonic probe comprises replaceable tip, ultrasonic probe body and processor, wherein the replaceable tip comprises at least one ultrasonic transducer for emitting and receiving ultrasonic signals, at least one electric contact of the tip for interaction with the electrical connector, memory and/or RFID microcircuit chip, suitable for storing data relating to replaceable tip, tip connector for fixing replaceable tip with housing of ultrasonic probe, wherein the ultrasonic probe housing is characterized in that it comprises a probe housing connector for interaction with the replaceable tip connector, an electrodynamic drive for interaction with at least one ultrasonic transducer, wherein the electrodynamic drive is adapted to generate a low frequency pulse with a frequency in the range of about 1 Hz to about 5000 Hz, data reading means configured to view a storage device and/or RFID chip and transmit data relating to the replaceable tip to a processor, wherein processor selects data collection parameters in accordance with data related to replaceable tip, extracted from storage device and/or RFID chip. Method of ultrasonic probe implementation includes stage of identification of replaceable tip by reading content of storage device and/or RFID microcircuit chip, if replaceable tip is attached to housing of ultrasonic probe, wherein said reading is carried out by means of reading data of housing of ultrasonic probe, and a step of selecting data acquisition parameters if a replaceable tip attached to the housing of the ultrasonic probe is identified, wherein said selection is carried out by a processor which is configured to exchange data with the housing of the ultrasonic probe.

EFFECT: use of inventions makes it possible to increase efficiency of transient elastography due to simplification of adaptation to anatomy of the patient at replaceability of the tip.
