FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of producing selenium-containing phenol derivatives, specifically bis(3,5-dialkyl-4-hydroxybenzyl)selenides. Disclosed method enables to obtain bis(3,5-dialkyl-4-hydroxybenzyl)selenides with high output in a single step:
EFFECT: obtained compounds can be used in synthesis of supramolecules (cyclophanes, selenokaliksarenes, et cetera), as well as multifunctional antioxidants.
