SUBSTANCE: invention relates to diethyl 2,2-dialkylmalonate and 2,2-dialkyl-1,3-dimethoxypropane of formula 1, to a method for production thereof and to their use as a stereoregulating component in a catalyst for stereospecific propylene polymerisation, containing magnesium dichloride as a carrier, titanium tetrachloride as an active component

Proposed method in case of producing diethyl 2,2-dialkylmalonate (1a) involves condensation of diethylmalonate with myrtenal with subsequent catalytic hydrogenation of the formed alkene and further reaction with isobutyl bromide in the presence of a base. When producing 2,2-dialkyl-1,3-dimethoxypropane (1b), the method involves reduction of diethyl 2,2-dialkylmalonate (1a) complex hydrides of alkali metals, followed by alkylation of the formed diol with dimethyl sulphate or methyl iodide in the presence of a base.

EFFECT: development of new non-phthalate stereoregulating internal donors and catalyst systems containing such donors and allowing to obtain polyolefins with specified properties.
