SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to systems controlled by computing devices. Scalable home automation system for monitoring, control and monitoring of a sanitary installation and elements, which contains a sanitary installation, connected devices, which communicate with each other on the network of the system. Network of the system is configured to physically divide into several subnets: wireless, wire and mobile. Plug-in devices contain hardware and software for establishing connection over the Internet through a system network and an electronic interface. System is configured to respond to signals sent by connected devices, to measure flow rate output by flow sensor, to check that flow rate is more than 0 l/min and that valve is not closed, calculate residual flow rate, check that residual flow is more than 0 and apply warning method. Invention covers also methods of configuring, monitoring and warning system flow sensors.

EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of monitoring and control of sanitary unit.
